outside and some of you even more than you want, but we have none. and for our longing for a real winter this cake seems to be the right choice as it looks like a huge snowball.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>having the\u00a0apples only inside, it doesn&#8217;t matter how beautiful they look in the middle of winter or if they are already crumpled.<\/p>\n<p>i discovered the <em><a href=\"http:\/\/valentinas-kochbuch.de\/rezept-von-gennaro-contaldo-oma-genoveffas-apfelkuchen\/\" target=\"_blank\">recipe on valentinas kochbuch<\/a><\/em>. the picture of the original cookbook looks a bit different. if you want your cake to look more like the original\u00a0picture, instead of a snowball, pour the icing sugar on top and wait one day.<\/p>\n<p>so enjoy baking.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">85 g soft butter<br \/>\n3 apples<br \/>\nzest and juice of one lemon<br \/>\n3 eggs<br \/>\n150 g sugar<br \/>\n1 vanilla pod<br \/>\n300 g flour<br \/>\n2 tsp baking powder<br \/>\nicing sugar to decorate<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">preheat the oven to 180\u00b0 C. grease a baking tin with butter and baking paper.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">peel the apples and remove the cores. cut the apples in pieces and in some thin slices to decorate. you can also keep one apple halved to set in the middle of the cake, which will look very nice. pour the apples in a bowl and sprinkle with lemon juice to avoid discolorations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">pour eggs and sugar in a large bowl and whisk until foamy. add the butter and mix carefully. add also the mark of the vanilla pod. now sift the flour and add to the other ingredients in the bowl. combine and fold in the apples and the lemon zest.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">pour the dough in the baking tin and decorate with the sliced apple and the halved apple. bake for 40 minutes. allow to cool down, remove from the baking tin einer zitrone<br \/>\n3 eier<br \/>\n150 g zucker<br \/>\n1 vanilleschote<br \/>\n300 g mehl<br \/>\n2 tl backpulver<br \/>\npuderzucker zum dekorieren<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">den ofen auf 180\u00b0 C vorheizen. eine springform ausbuttern und mit backpapier auslegen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">die \u00e4pfel sch\u00e4len und das kerngeh\u00e4use entfernen. die \u00e4pfel in st\u00fccke schneiden und einige zur dekoration in d\u00fcnne scheinen. wer mag, kann in die mitte des kuchens zum schluss auch einen halbieren apfel setzen, das sieht sehr sch\u00f6n aus. die geschnittenen \u00e4pfel in eine sch\u00fcssel geben und mit zitronensaft betr\u00e4ufeln, damit sich die \u00e4pfel nicht verf\u00e4rben.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">die eier und den zucker in eine gro\u00dfe r\u00fchrsch\u00fcssel geben und schaumig schlagen. die butter untermischen sowie das mark der vanilleschote. das mehl sieben und zu den anderen zutaten geben. alles mischen und zum schluss die \u00e4pfel und die abgeriebene \u00a0zitronenschale unterheben.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">den teig in die vorbereitete springform geben und den halben apfel mit der schnittfl\u00e4che nach oben in die mitte setzen. 40 minuten backen. abk\u00fchlen lassen, aus der springform nehmen und mit puderzucker bestreut
