and this is another example for limited\u00a0time consuming cooking while\u00a0enjoying good food. all you need are local ingredients: broad beans, spring onions and aneth, a good splash of olive oil and bacon if you like.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>the flavor of the broad beans, spring onions and aneth is rich enough to enjoy this dish as a vegetarian snack for lunch. we had it with some fried bacon, but both tasted excellent. i can imagine that it would be great as a side dish for some grilled lamb or fish.<\/p>\n<p>the recipe is out of <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nigelslater.com\/tender.asp\" target=\"_blank\">nigel slaters tender vegetable <\/a><\/em>cookbook. a must have for everybody eating and cooking from farm to table. delicious recipe ideas and easy to prepare.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">for 2:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">250 g broad beans<br \/>\n6 spring onions<br \/>\none bunch aneth<br \/>\none bunch mint<br \/>\n2 tbsp white wine vinegar<br \/>\nolive oil<br \/>\n4 slices bacon<br \/>\nwhite bread<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">pod the broad beans and simmer the small beans for about 5 minutes. rinse with cold water and remove the thin skin which surrounds each bean.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">wash the spring onions and cut them into thin rings. wash the aneth and chop. wash the mint and chop as well. combine the herbs with the white wine vinegar and season with salt and pepper. add some olive oil and stir until it gets\u00a0the texture you prefer. it probably will be around 80 ml of olive oil.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">fry the bacon until golden and crispy. combine the broad beans with the dressing, arrange on plates and set the bacon on top if you like.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">serve with some crunchy white bread and a chilled glas of white wine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">enjoy!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">********************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">f\u00fcr 2:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">250 g dicke bohnen<br \/>\n6 fr\u00fchlingszwiebeln<br \/>\nein bund dill<br \/>\nein bund minze<br \/>\n2 el wei\u00dfweinessig<br \/>\noliven\u00f6l<br \/>\n4 scheiben bacon<br \/>\nwei\u00dfbrot<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">die bohnen enth\u00fclsen und die bohnenkerne 5 minuten k\u00f6cheln lassen. abschrecken und die bohnenkerne aus der kleinen haut dr\u00fccken, die sie umgibt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">fr\u00fchlingszwiebeln waschen und in d\u00fcnne ringe schneiden. den dill waschen und hacken. die minze waschen und hacken. die kr\u00e4uter mit dem wei\u00dfweinessig mischen und mit salz und pfeffer abschmecken. oliven\u00f6l dazu r\u00fchren bis das dressing die gew\u00fcnschte konsistenz erreicht hat. das k\u00f6nnen etwa 80 ml oliven\u00f6l sein.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">den bacon knusprig anbraten. die dicken bohnen mit dem dressing vermischen und auf teller verteilen. wer mag, setzt den bacon oben drauf.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">mit knusprigem wei\u00dfbrot und einen k\u00fchlen glas wei\u00dfwein servieren.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">guten appetit!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>broad beans are my absolute favorite vegetable at the moment!
